Tehran, IRNA- Iran’s ambassador to Iraq Iraj Masjedi said martyrs Qasem Soleimani and Majid Al-Mohandis helped eradicate terrorism.

He made the remarks in a ceremony here on Thursday to commemorate the second martyrdom anniversary of the IRGC commander Major General Qasem Soleimani and the former commander of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis.

The commemoration ceremony was held at the embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Iraq.

Masjedi said that the Islamic resistance is present in the field with more power thanks to the blood of these two martyrs.

The Iranian ambassador further noted that after the martyrdom of these commanders the American crimes have become more obvious to the world. The crime of assassinating the martyred commanders carried out on Trump's orders is a symbol of international terrorism and all the perpetrators of this crime will be prosecuted.
